  • 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) butter
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 pounds medium to large fresh shrimp (unpeeled)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, olive oil, garlic, bay leaves, Creole seasoning, oregano, paprika, black pepper, cayenne pepper, green onions, and lemon juice. Simmer over medium heat for a few minutes.
  3. Place unpeeled shrimp in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring halfway through until shrimp are pink and opaque.
