  • ¾ cup cake flour

  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1215 strawberries (about 1 cup pureed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and puree the strawberries in a food processor until chunky.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and egg using an electric mixer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract, buttermilk, and strawberry puree until combined.
  5. Gradually add flours, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; mix on low speed until just combined.
  6. Transfer batter into a piping bag and fill the greased donut mold halfway.
  7. Bake for 7-8 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk until smooth; glaze donuts once cooled.
