  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey or ground chicken)
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 2 teaspoons rice apple vinegar
  • 12 ounces coleslaw mix (or shredded green cabbage)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook until translucent (about 2 minutes). Stir in garlic; sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Add ground meat and cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Mix in ginger, soy sauce, rice apple vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in coleslaw mix; cook for another 5 minutes until desired tenderness.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
