  • 1 recipe beef rub
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your smoker to 250°F.
  2. Apply the beef rub generously to the chuck roast and place it on the smoker.
  3. Smoke for 4-5 hours until the internal temperature reaches 165°F; let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and honey in a bowl while the meat rests.
  5. Cut the roast into 1’’ cubes and combine with BBQ sauce mixture in a foil pan; cover with foil.
  6. Return to the smoker for an additional 1 – 1½ hours until tender.
