Ingredients

  • 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • A dash of salt
  • A pinch of cream of tartar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper or a silicone liner.
  2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks into two bowls.
  3. Mix softened cream cheese and salt into the egg yolk bowl until smooth.
  4. Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding cream of tartar if desired.
  5. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites without deflating them.
  6. Spoon six mounds onto the prepared pan and flatten slightly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden but not too brown.
  8. Cool on the baking pan for 3-5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
