  • 23 lbs Chicken Drumsticks
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1.5 tsp Chile Powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp Cayenne
  • 2 cups Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Dijon Mustard
  • ⅛ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp Prepared Horseradish
  • 1 tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 2 tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 2 tsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F).
  2. Butterfly the chicken drumsticks by slicing down to the bone and pulling them open.
  3. In a bowl, combine the marinade ingredients and coat each drumstick evenly. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Prepare the Alabama white sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Grill the drumsticks over direct heat for 2-3 minutes per side until charred. Move to cooler side of grill until they reach an internal temperature of 170°F (about 10-15 minutes).
  6. Allow to rest for 1-2 minutes before serving with Alabama white sauce.
