  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp apple vinegar
  • 14 oz turkey kielbasa, thinly sliced
  • 1 large head green cabbage, cored and sliced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Italian flat leaf parsley, rough chopped
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 3 tbsp of butter. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
  2. Mix in apple vinegar with the onions and garlic.
  3. Add sliced turkey kielbasa to the pan; sauté until slightly browned.
  4. Incorporate the remaining butter along with sliced cabbage, paprika, sea salt, and pepper; toss to combine.
  5. Cook until the cabbage wilts and begins to brown slightly.
  6. Serve topped with chopped parsley and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
