- 1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, or lamb)
- 4 cups shredded green cabbage
- 1 cup grated or julienned carrots
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)
- Prepare all ingredients by shredding cabbage, grating carrots, mincing garlic and ginger, and chopping green onions.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground meat for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat if desired.
- Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in cabbage and carrots along with soy sauce and sesame oil; cook for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender yet still crunchy.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Toss in green onions just before serving.
