  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste or sriracha (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mix of soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok over medium-high heat. Add oil if necessary to prevent sticking.
  3. Cook the marinated chicken until browned; then stir frequently until fully cooked.
  4. Add cabbage, carrots, bell pepper, and snap peas to the pan; stir-fry until tender yet crisp.
  5. In a bowl, combine garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, chili paste (if using), and honey or brown sugar. Pour over the stir-fry and toss well.
  6. Cook for another minute before serving garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
