  • 2 lb bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 stick unsalted butter – melted
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 stick butter – melted
  • 2 cups corn flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1 stick of melted butter. Mix until well blended.
  3. Transfer the potato mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, melt the remaining stick of butter and pour it over the corn flakes; mix well to coat.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the corn flake mixture on top of the potato casserole.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until hot and golden brown on top.
