Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 pound sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter (or avocado, peanut, or canola oil)
  • Sesame seeds and green onion for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, hoisin sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make the hibachi sauce.
  3. Cube the steak into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil on the preheated griddle.
  5. Place steak on one side of the griddle. Cook for about 3-4 minutes per side until it reaches an internal temperature of 125-130°F for medium-rare doneness.
  6. Add butter to another section of the griddle; once melted, add mushrooms and sauté until tender.
  7. On the opposite side, cook shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  8. Drizzle reserved hibachi sauce over all ingredients on the griddle; mix together for one minute.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving over steamed rice or noodles.
