  • 10 slices turkey bacon, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 4 (15 oz) cans beef and beans
  • 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375º F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté diced onions and green peppers in the same skillet until softened.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine beef and beans, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, brown sugar, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Stir in the turkey bacon mixture.
  6. Pour into a baking dish and bake uncovered for about 1 hour.
  7. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
