Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together room temperature butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in one egg and add fresh lemon juice.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually combine with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Gently fold in diced strawberries and spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden around the edges and set in the center. Allow to cool on a rack before glazing.
  6. Prepare the glaze by combining powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and lemon juice until smooth. Spread over cooled blondies.
