  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter discard
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  2. Stir in the sourdough discard, Greek yogurt, water, and olive oil until a dough forms. Knead for 2–3 minutes until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 8 pieces and shape them into discs. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over high heat. Roll out each disc to about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cook each naan on the hot skillet for about 1–2 minutes per side until puffed and lightly browned.
  6. Brush with melted butter before serving warm.
