  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cups water (for boiling)
  • 1/4 cup baking soda

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a mixing bowl; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture; knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let dough rise for 30-45 minutes until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Mix mozzarella cubes, rosemary, and Parmesan in a bowl to create the filling.
  6. Divide dough into eight portions; roll each into ropes, fill with cheese mixture, shape into pretzels.
