  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 (6-oz.) salmon fillets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper; add to the skillet skin side up. Sear for about 2 minutes.
  3. Flip the salmon skin side down and add remaining olive oil along with minced garlic. Cook until fragrant (about 1 minute), then pour in the honey glaze and add lemon slices.
  4. Cook while basting occasionally until the glaze reduces by one-third (about 3 minutes). Serve warm.
