  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened) for the frosting
  • 4 cups powdered sugar for the frosting
  • ¼ cup strawberry puree for the frosting
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for the frosting
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or milk, if needed) for the frosting
  • Pinch of salt for the frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
