  • 8 ounces uncooked egg noodles
  • 1/4 cup butter (1/2 stick)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot over high heat. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions until al dente.
  2. While the noodles cook, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Reserve about 2 tablespoons of hot pasta water before draining the cooked noodles. Drain the noodles and add them directly to the skillet with garlic butter.
  4. Stir in the parmesan cheese and chopped parsley until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
