  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube the russet potatoes, then place them in a large pot filled with cold water.
  2. Bring the water to a boil over high heat; reduce to medium-high and cook until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes).
  3. Drain the potatoes thoroughly, then mash them in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  4. Mix in softened butter, heavy cream, egg yolks, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until creamy.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star tip; pipe small mounds onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown on top.
