  • 1/2 lb beef flank steak (or any cut of beef)
  • 46 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 3/4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by slicing vegetables and beef into thin strips.
  2. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a wok over medium-high heat, add ginger, then stir-fry beef until browned.
  4. Add green pepper and onion; stir-fry until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, sugar, corn starch mixture, and water. Pour over beef and vegetables.
  6. Gently toss in drained noodles until well-coated; cook for an additional minute.
