  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Panko
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter (slightly melted)
  • 23 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 23 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable broth (as a Worcestershire sauce alternative)
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 4 hoagies or baguettes
  • 34 cups romaine lettuce (chopped or shredded)

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts into thin cutlets.
  2. Whisk egg with milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Combine breadcrumbs and Panko in another bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Set aside on paper towels.
  5. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and grated Parmesan in a bowl.
  6. Split hoagies lengthwise and spread garlic butter on each half. Toast in a preheated oven at 450°F for about 3-4 minutes.
