- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.

- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes to blend flavors.
- While simmering, cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked macaroni with beef mixture, add cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and stir in sour cream until well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared baking dish and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in your preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Allow cooling for about 5 minutes before serving to let flavors set beautifully.
