  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 shallots (chopped)
  • 1⅓ cups apple vinegar
  • 2½ cups beef broth
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil (or canola, divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • Finishing salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by melting 3 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan. Sauté shallots until translucent, then add apple vinegar and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in beef broth and thyme, simmering until thickened. Season to taste.
